Spring Break, part 1

This week is Spring Break at our house!

Fortunately, everyone has their break during the same week this year, including the school where Tiffany teaches, the school where the "big boys" attend, and the Bible institute where Ashlyn is a student. Of course, we can take our homeschool break whenever we decide. Ideally, I would have chosen a warmer week -- but logistically, this is the week!

So, we all plan to rest and rejuvenate, to mark some projects off our never-ending to-do lists, and to have some fun together, too!

In times past, I would have scheduled spring break week with my plans and projects, and everyone would have pretty much gotten on board! (That was because Alan usually continued to work during spring break, so it was just me and the children.) However, times have changed! We are now in a new season of life! This year, Alan is bravely taking off from work and has his own lengthy list of projects and excursions! The older girls make their own plans, of course, and the boys now have jobs and friends and plans of their own -- so the first rule of Spring Break thus far has been Communication, with Flexibility and Respect for each other, coming in second and third!!

Monday, most of the family went to the Aviation Museum in Warner Robbins, GA. (The big boys stayed here for basketball open gym time, work, and a time with friends watching the national basketball championship.)

We enjoyed our time at the Aviation Museum, and I took tons of pictures! In fact, Alan accused me of taking too many pictures and not showing enough interest in the vintage planes and exhibits! Ooops! ;) Actually, I did enjoy the exhibits, especially the WWII ones, but I can really only look at so many WWII planes with deep appreciation!!

So, here are some of my fun photos from our day!
