Christmas Eve - Part 1: The Tacky Sweater Contest!

I have come to the conclusion over the past few days, that I must have dropped a couple of my sons on their heads while they were babies! Now that I think about it, I do remember Taylor falling out of a grocery cart at Wal-Mart when he was about three years old and landing on his head! He had quite a goose egg and we were treated like celebrities for several minutes there! So, I guess that may explain a few things . . .

Taylor and Joe spent Chrismas Eve morning with a hot glue gun, some odd pieces of Christmas ribbon, assorted Christmas bows, and a box of Christmas ornaments transforming these sweater vests (which used to be a required part of their basketball Game Day attire two years ago) into "tacky Christmas sweaters!"

Taylor's "tackiest-ever Christmas sweater" . . .

Joe's version of the "tackiest Christmas sweater" . . . .

Modeling their creations . . .

Dressed like this, they went over to the D's house to spread a little Christmas cheer!

Reminds me of some of my sweaters from the 80's when "tacky" Christmas Sweaters were all the rage!! I think I've deposed of them all now but maybe I should have sent them down south to your boys!!

Terri, I think the inspiration for their creative genius may have been some of those tacky sweaters of the 80's! :)
