Weight Loss Wednesday

I was not able to weigh in this morning, because I couldn't get to the scales! (And you thought you had heard every possible excuse!)

Seriously, the scales are in the garage, and they are buried underneath a load of boxes and stuff from the storage room, that the boys left there when they got out the Christmas tree and all of the decorations! Now, how convenient is that??!!?? ;)

I think I'm pretty much holding steady. I guess that is my goal for December. I have determined that it is impossible for me to aggressively pursue weight loss during the hectic holiday season. If I can refrain from gaining any weight, I will be satisfied!

Due to the busyness of this time of year, and in honor of my buried scales, I have decided to suspend my WLW posts until January. Last December I abandoned my blog all together due to the craziness of life, so I'm not sure if I will be able to keep up with posting this December or not. This decision takes the pressure off. I won't feel guilty for not losing or not posting!

However, I do hope to fit in a few T-Tapp workouts and walks each week to help ward off those extra holiday pounds! (No promises! I will just do what I can!) At the very least, I should be able to fit in a couple sets of hoedowns each day!

Also, Tiffany and I are trying to eat our veggies! Six a day is still proving to be a challenge, but even if we only attain to three or four, we are healthier for it!

This picture reveals how Tiffany feels about getting in all of those veggies!!! It can be a daunting task! ;)

Maybe if we dipped them in chocolate . . . . ;)

Keep up the good work! I am going to try to lose a couple more over the holidays(crazy I know)!

I like that idea...chocolate would deffinately help!

I totaly understand your suspending your posts. It can do more harm that good to have to keep writing about gains and holds. Just keep your focus and remember the end goal! I've suspended mine as well, until my back is healthy enough to exercise. Even though I am still updating the weight loss ticker I've got. It's been very nice lately to just focus on my family and my reading. A nice change for a while!

I've heard several sources lately that say it's more important to get the waistline to a certain number. I think for women it's 32" and men is 35". Sounds small doesn't it!

Love the veggies in chocolate idea!

Somehow they grow on you, don't they?!

I just read on the forums that a craving lasts 3-5 minutes---and amazingly, so does a Hoedown! Hmmm..... ;)

I'm so not into weighing since I haven't lost much pounds-wise. But a LOT inch-wise! So I say, keep those things hidden! LOL!

I love it about not being able to get to the scale. I too am watching my weight and trying to lose some extra baby pounds and at times hubby will simply take the scale and hide it for days at a time so I don't get too obsessed!!! I love your header picture.
