A Ponytail's Fate

Hannah has been blessed with a beautiful headfull of thick, dark-blonde hair!   She has been growing it out for the past three years with this day in mind. . .

Today, she got her beautiful mane cut off, so she could donate it for the third time to Locks of Love, where it will be used to create natural looking wigs for children with long term hair loss.

First, Angie gathered it into a ponytail, then she measured off the required ten inches, and then she took her scissors and started whacking!

Here Angie works to shape up what is left . . . .

And then she styles it . . .

And here is the finished product!  A cute and stylish "do!"

Hannah loves her new hairstyle!  It feels cool and light and will be so easy for her to take care of this summer!

Hooray! What a perfect time to have it done too...just before the Georgia summer heat. I'm so proud of her for continuing to do such a wonderful thing! I pray the Lord will continue to bless her for doing it!

That's awesome. And she is still just as pretty as when her hair was long.

that is so nice of hannah! :) Such a small way to help someone else, yet very meaningful! Amber tried to grow hers out once, but there were too many "bad" ends, so they werent able to use it. She looks nice in her new cut!!
