You would have thought it was Christmas to see how excited the children were when the UPS man stopped at our house yesterday and delivered this:
Five boxes!! Four from BJU Press and one from Savannah's Candy Kitchen! :) Believe it or not, we opened the candy (a gift from my sweet husband) last!
Each child got to open a box and discover the treasures within!
Looks like these kids are going to be Busy this year! Here is Luke with his stack of new books!! WOW!

Isn't this fun. My kids too get excited when their very own special box comes. Only these days it isn't as often as it used to be since I use the library so much.
have a great weekend.

AWE! How funny! That is how we are...the UPS man beeps as he knows a "stamped" is on it's way! Ha! We love to get "new" books! Our UPS man knows that and said he so enjoys to stop as he chuckles all day over it!
Fun! Blessings~

P.S. How was the candy-anyway? :)
We did that a few months back! I was tracking packaging info for days! :)
Enjoy!!
I love the excited looks on their faces! I hope y'all are off to a great school year.
And, yes, how was the candy?? :)
It is so fun to get packages in the mail .... especially "sweet" ones!! (hint! lol)
The start of a new school year is always so exciting! Hopefully you can keep the energy and excitement going all year. Enjoy your new program!
I am eagerly watching for our UPS guy! Love the start of a new year and new books.
P.S. Found your blog from your posts on the bjuphomesc group.
Best part of being a teacher is cleaning up the classroom and putting all the new supplies on the shelves. It looks so neat and clean, just waiting for the children to arrive. Then they do and the classroom isn't as neat and clean any longer but the excitment continues as they explore the space, find their own special interests and settle in for a great year. Sharp new crayrons are my favorite!!
I love it! Packages are so exciting! I love to see how happy your children are to receive books!
Have a wonderful day!
Blessings
