I {Heart} Nutella

Ever since being introduced to Nutella hazelnut spread this past year, I have loved the stuff!  It is so Creamy and Delicious!  Unfortunately, it is neither budget-friendly nor waistline-friendly, so I don't eat it often.  However, when I saw a recipe online for Nutella Brownies Bites, I knew I had to give it a try!!!

These are so EASY to make!  Just mix together:

1 cup Nutella
2 eggs

Add:

10 TBSP all-purpose flour

Mix well, scraping the bowl as needed.
Spoon mixture into 2 mini-muffin tins, sprayed generously with cooking spray.

Bake at 350 F for 10-12 minutes.

Let cool and sprinkle with powdered sugar (optional).

Enjoy!

I'm thinking these would be perfect to make for Valentine's Day!  :)

Those look yummy...and very festive for valentines day! :)

We heard about Nutella a while back (believe it or not, from a missionary family), but because of Amber's nut allergy we have never tried it. I have heard it is very good...but you are right, probably expensive and fattening!

I must be the only person in the country who has never tried this stuff. I've printed off your recipe, and I think I'll try it. Thanks!

Um, yeah! We show great restraint each time we pass the two pack at Costco! Each time we try really hard to justify buying them!!!

This looks great, will try for V-DAy

Am I correct in thinking that this is relatively new to the US? It seems we've been using it for years. I believe it's actually less fattening than peanut butter - if that makes anyone feel better. You've reminded me of a recipe I used to make often when the kids were younger. It had a biscuit (cookie) base with a layer of Nutella on top and then finished off with melted chocolate. It was very quick and easy to make and always very popular.

I just discovered Nutella last year as well. It is SO good....In fact, it is so good that I had to quit buying it. However, today is one of those days that I wish I had a big jar of it handy!

I've seen Nutella on the grocery shelves for years here in New England. But just brought my first jar a few months ago and it is addicting!! It is great with bananas, to flavor a smoothie, in crepes, or my favorite way is to just eat it off a spoon or to dip a salted pita chip into it!! It doesn't cost much more than peanutbutter here. Atleast there is some protein in this chocolate treat!!

Terri,

Thanks so much for offering so many additional ways to use Nutella and for tempting me to buy another jar!!! ;)

Jules,

Please share your "biscuit" recipe! (So I'll have another reason to buy a new jar!) :)
