TGIF: Family Celebrations {Link up|

Welcome to my link up --

Thank God It's {Family Fun}  Friday !!

I want to encourage you to create memories, build family traditions, and have fun with your family!  Because children grow up faster than you think possible . . .

Many families look forward to having a Family Fun Night on Fridays.  Is this something your family does?  Tell us about it!  What are your favorite Friday night activities?  Do you plan special activities on weekends?  What do you do for Fun with your family??  How do you create memories?  Please share any of the above by leaving a comment or linking up your blog!

Family Celebrations

May has been a Blur of activity for our family with lots of company and some Big Events --Josh & Kristi's wedding and Joe's Graduation being the biggest, of course, but we've also managed to celebrate Mother's Day, Alan's birthday, Taylor's birthday, and our anniversary!!   That means we have certainly had more than our share of fun, momentous occasions and have created memories to last a lifetime during the past thirty-one days!

Now, I think we are ready for some downtime -- some quiet, uneventful days!  But, I'm not sure we ever have much of that!  ;)

Tonight's "family fun" will involve yard sale prep and tomorrow we are hosting a big yard sale!  Time to clear out some clutter and try to make some cash!

How about you?  Do you have big plans for the weekend?  Have you enjoyed any big family celebrations lately?

Your Turn to Share:

I linked up a recent post of mine about teaching children about the Bible as history rather than making "Bible stories" sound like fairy tales. We want to have the kind of family time and discussions that will help the Bible come alive to our children and help them see it as realistic and true. There's nothing more important you can give your kids than a solid Biblical foundation.

I wish we lived closer so we could have a joint yard sale!! :)

My children LOVE having those....although they don't really love getting rid of any of their clutter!!

I hope you have a fun and prosperous sale!! said...

Family traditions, good ones and bad ones, create a family culture that defines life for our children. Thanks for the encouragement to make godly family traditions.
