Four Desserts for the Fourth!

Every year, our church holds a big 4th of July picnic, which includes a patriotic-themed dessert contest.  This year we had four entries just from our family!!

Chris made some of his amazing dark chocolate cookies with chocolate and peanut butter chips!!!  These are to-die-for!

Tiffany created this tantalizing trifle:

Kristi and Hannah made cake pops!  Have you seen these cute little creations on Pinterest or at a party?  They are perfect for bridal and baby showers and also for weddings!  Click here for the instructions Kristi followed.

Here are some pictures of the Cake Pop Adventure!  :)

I made this "Red, White and Blueberry Poke Cake" from the June/July issue of Taste of Home Magazine.

It turned out pretty well, although it didn't look as good as it did in the magazine picture!  I thought it tasted good, too -- it was very light and delicious!  :)

So . . . which dessert do you think won First Prize and a $10 gift card to Bed, Bath and Beyond??  Want to take a guess?  Leave me a Comment and tell me which dessert you think won!  I will reveal the winner later today!
