A Word from the Lord

Don't you love it when the Lord speaks to your heart through His Word?  These are the special verses which the Lord has given me this week concerning my Mom:

Thou shalt guide me with thy counsel, and afterward receive me to glory.Whom have I in heaven but thee? and there is none upon earth that I desire beside thee.My flesh and my heart faileth: but God is the strength of my heart, and my portion for ever.  ~ Psalm 73:24-26

What a perfect passage for my Mom and her situation!

Has the Lord given you any special scriptures lately?

Was going to share with you Elizabeth on the Monday post (before your Momma took ill) how your Momma's life from her younger married years still is blessing and encouraging "TODAY"! I had a situation come up. maybe not at all the same thing that was your Moms however...for some reason God brought to my mind the picture of your Mom & her look of absolutly...
"beauty of peace" and it was so a reminder of a soft, peace, ladilikeness that will help our hubby along if struggling not a un-done all in a up-set women! So...I am reminded to tell you this that her sweet way even thou I have not heard her speak..was a oh so gentle reminder to love & pray & God will walk right along and it will all come out & yES for HIS GLORY! Not sure if all that makes sense to you ...just wanting to share how your Mommas is a testimony to others across the miles in many ways! I am thankful for you, her and that God had you to share her with us!
Still keeping you & yours & your parents close in prayer!
Hugs~

Elizabeth~I have been following your blog for a year or so now. AND I have been blessed and challenged. I will be praying for you & family now as you care for your Mother. My dear grandmother passed in July. My precious Mom & Grandfather cared for her for 2 1/2 years. Praying for you! What a beautiful verse! God is so faithful to speak to us when we seek Him in the Word! Prayers lifted for you today!
