Marriage Monday: Loving Your Husband {Link up}

Marriage Mondays

Welcome back to Marriage Monday!  Once again, I'm shocked that it can possibly be Monday again already!  In fact, I'm so unprepared for a new week that I don't have even the beginnings of a Marriage Monday post written.  In fact, I don't even have a spark in my mind, that just needs fanned into a flame!

So, I've decided to draw your attention to this fantastic post from Time Warp Wife on 30 Ways to Love Your Husband.  This was posted on Friday, and it has been on my mind every since.

While everyone loves to hear those three little words, "I love you," it is even more powerful to have that love communicated through actions!

Our loving Heavenly Father set that example -- not just communicating His love in Word, but in deed:

"For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life."  ~ John 3:16

How do you communicate love to your husband?

Your Turn to Share:

How do you tell you husband that you love him without saying a word?  How does your husband communicate his love to you?  Please share!!!

If you were blessed or encouraged by this post, please consider sharing it with your friends on Facebook or other social media sites.  Thank you!

I often communicate love to my husband by serving him in unexpected ways that I know mean a lot to him. He LOVES neat and tidy in so many ways, so surprising him by cleaning and organizing a mess that has been on the back burner sometimes pleases him more than any gift or words. (We might be strange, but this is true!)

That is a great way to communicate love to our husbands! I tend to overlook my messes and piles of clutter -- like the boxes of stuff in our bedroom that I intend to sell on Ebay! :) And let's not forget the bags of stuff to go to Goodwill!! :) Cleaning up those piles would definitely bless and encourage my husband! :) Thanks for sharing! :) said...

Oh boy, getting rid of goodwill piles! Now your really speaking his love language! Maybe I'll save that idea up for Valentine's Day! :)

Elizabeth... We keep a couples journal and write in it often, sharing how we each show love to the other. He has his side that he writes about how I show my love to him and I have the other side to do the same about him. Simple things like a good meal, clean clothes, flowers, lttle notes given are journaled in there. Thank you for the link up friend.

We are in a crazy phase of life with three little ones (ages 4,2,and 1) and another baby due in early January - so sometimes it is hard to communicate throughout the day like we used to. So, we've been leaving each other notes on picture frames, marker boards, and with text messages so that we dont' forget to express our love in the midst of all the toddlers. :)

I found you from a linkup and realized I have been here before. I will make sure to subscribe this time so I don't lose you. I love the emphasis on Husbands! They seem to get the short end of the stick. Read my entry about complaining:
