1000th Post Celebration {Giveaway!}

As I shared with you on Saturday, Friday's post was my 1000th blog post!!  And that calls for a CeLeBrAtIoN!!  :)

First of all, I want to thank you, my faithful readers, for taking time out of your busy days to read the words I spill here, and for sharing many of my posts with your friends via your favorite social media sites.  Thank you also for taking the time to leave comments on my blog and/or Facebook page and for your many encouraging emails!  :)  Y'all bless me in so many ways!  :)

Now, I want to bless you!!  :)

I have five amazing items to give away and will use Rafflecopter to randomly select five winners!  All you have to do is follow the instructions on the Rafflecopter widget for entering the giveaway.  All of the entries are optional; however, the more entries you choose to complete, the greater your chances of winning!  :)

OK - let's get down to the fun part -- introducing the items that I'm giving away!  (Oh! This is so exciting!)  :)

1. One Thousand Gifts by Ann Voskamp, donated by Zondervan. What could be more perfect for celebrating my 1000th post than Ann's book on counting God's blessings and grace gifts in every day life?

2. A beautiful flexi-clip from Lilla Rose!

Lilla Rose offers quality hair jewelery at affordable prices.  The amazing flexi-clip is the most loved member of the product line because of its comfort, versatility, and simple elegance.  If you win, you get to select the size and style of flexi-clip you prefer (up to a $16 value).  My girls and I wear our flexi-clips every day and don't know how we managed B.F.C. (before the flexi-clip!)  :)

3. Step Away the Inches Walking Workout from T-Tapp.

Why walk away the pounds when you can step away the inches??  This is Teresa Tapp's popular walking workout. If you are unfamiliar with T-Tapp, here is a description from the T-Tapp website:

T-Tapp is a series of copyrighted, sequential movements designed to put the body in proper functional alignment. Its special sequence of comprehensive, compound muscle movement helps establish better alignment as well as increased strength and flexibility of the spine, better neuro-kinetic flow, lymphatic function, and increased metabolic rate. Its physical therapy approach to fitness makes it safe for those with shoulder, hip, knee, neck, and back concerns. Yet, it delivers a challenging workout for all fitness levels!

T-Tapp's preventative wellness workouts deliver results inside and out. Instead of just focusing on burning calories and fat to lose weight, T-Tapp concentrates on helping the body rebuild digestion, assimilation, elimination, in addition to improving lymphatic function and neuro-kinetic flow. Increased energy, mental clarity and overall health immediately improve as your body tightens and tones. Faster inch loss occurs because muscles develop like girdles so they can uplift and cinch in target areas of concern. That's because T-Tapp develops long, lean muscle fibers with strength and flexibility for greater muscle density instead of muscle bulk. In fact, T-Tapp can redesign bulky muscles into lean, dense tissue! Best of all, this type of muscle development helps support the spine and joints in a rehabilitative way. Many injuries occur due to muscle imbalance, but with T-Tapp muscles are always built with strength and flexibility. It just happens that this type of muscle development also increases metabolic processing for higher burning of calories and fat even when not working out! Last of all, T-Tapp is a left-right brain, mind-body workout.

4.  Lavender or Peppermint Essential oil from Young Living Independent Distributor, Mary Clendenin.

Lavender (Lavandula angustifolia) has a fresh, sweet, floral, herbaceous aroma that is soothing and refreshing. Because it is the most versatile of all essential oils, no home should be without it. Lavender is an adaptogen, and therefore can assist the body when adapting to stress or imbalances. It is a great aid for relaxing and winding down before bedtime, yet has balancing properties that can also boost stamina and energy. Therapeutic-grade lavender is highly regarded for skin and beauty. It may be used to soothe and cleanse common cuts, bruises, and skin irritations. The French scientist René Gattefossé was among the first to discover these properties when he was severely burned in a laboratory explosion.

Peppermint (Mentha piperita) has a strong, clean, fresh, minty aroma. One of the oldest and most highly regarded herbs for soothing digestion, it may also restore digestive efficiency.* Jean Valnet MD studied peppermint's supportive effect on the liver and respiratory systems. Other scientists have also researched peppermint's role in improving taste and smell when inhaled. Dr. William N. Dember of the University of Cincinnati studied peppermint's ability to improve concentration and mental sharpness. Alan Hirsch MD studied peppermint's ability to directly affect the brain's satiety center, which triggers a sensation of fullness after meals.

These high quality hand-made note cards feature pictures of the beautiful Georgia coast taken by my daughter, Hannah, along with an appropriate Scripture verse.  These are perfect for sending a note of encouragement to someone!

1000 blog posts. Are you kidding me? Congratulations. I remember that week at HH, when you persuaded me to join the bloggy world. I think my blog posting is a lot like my sporadic effort to grow plants, lol, but I am improving don't you think. I am inspired by your 100 mark and all your likes.

I like the balance of your post subjects, but particularly love the encouragement to be a balanced and godly woman. I also enjoy your recipes. :)
Do you have any practical ideas for cutting back on the food budget (without a place to garden) without going to the processed food route?

I would definitely choose the One Thousand Gifts book. I am currently borrowing someone elses copy, but have my own copy on a wishlist. I 'accidentally' stumbled on your blog this morning, so not too familiar with it, but would really like to subscribe! It won't let me. :( It keeps telling me to try again later. I hope I remember. :)
