Winner of Little Lads and Ladies of Virtue

Congratulations to January Batten, the winner of Little Lads and Ladies of Virtue by Kathie Morrissey!

A big thank you to all of you who entered the giveaway, shared about it on your social media sites, or purchased the ebook!

The good news is that even if you did not win, this ebook is reasonably priced and is an invaluable resource for your home, school or church!

From talking to my husband and adult kids who are working or in college, I realize that one of the biggest problems they encounter daily is a lack of character in their employees, co-workers and fellow students.  A lack of character translates into employees arriving late or not showing up at all, work done poorly or not at all, students cheating on tests or projects, and a general lack of respect for authority (just to name a few!).

We have an opportunity to raise up a generation of young adults who will shine in the darkness as they live their lives with character!!!  That was definitely one of the reasons we chose to homeschool 24 years ago!

This verse has been the theme verse for our homeschool all these years:

"Do all things without grumbling or disputing; so that you will prove yourselves to be blameless and innocent, children of God above reproach in the midst of a crooked and perverse generation, among whom you appear as lights in the worldholding fast the word of life, so that in the day of Christ I will have reason to glory because I did not run in vain nor toil in vain."  ~ Philippians 2:14-16

The most effective character training starts early, before the cement hardens, so to speak!  That is why it is imperative that you have a plan for systematically teaching character to your pre-school and elementary aged children!  Little Lads and Ladies of Virtue teaches 24 essential character qualities in a way that young children can learn, understand and remember!

Over the course of a week, you will teach your child a concise definition for the character trait, a short memory verse, 3 powerful "I Will" statements that help your child apply the character quality to his or her life, and daily prayers of application.  You will also find creative ideas for games, object lessons, and role plays that will help your children practice the character quality in a fun way!

I really love this character curriculum, and I know you will too!  I encourage you to purchase this excellent resource for use with your children, grandchildren, or students.  It will be an asset to your home, school or church!
