From my Front Porch ~ June 12, 2015

Welcome back to my {supposed to be!} weekly series, From my Front Porch, where I share updates from my home and family. My hope is that you'll fix yourself a cup of coffee or tea and imagine us sitting together on my front porch, chatting about life and catching up on the latest news!  I hope you'll join me each Friday on My Front Porch!

Surprise, surprise -- I got behind again!  :)  It's really hard to keep up with blogging when my life is a whirlwind of activity!!  :)

My oldest daughter, Tiffany, was home for a week and she kept us all busy trying to fit in every fun thing she had on her summer bucket list!  ;)  She loves the beach, so hare agenda included several beach days!  :)  Some of the items on her bucket list were: getting peach milkshakes from Chick-fil-A, flying a kite:

building a sand sculpture:

and hunting for ghost crabs at night!

Tiffany was also able to mark off having a Cook Out while she was home, as we celebrated this big guy's 25th birthday on Memorial Day with a big cook out and with his favorite cheesecake!

The following Thursday, I accompanied my husband on a trip to Orlando. While he attended meetings, I got to have fun relaxing by the pool!  :)

I named this picture, "Make Way for Ducklings!"  :)

Lunch always tastes better poolside, don't you think??  :)

Not the best picture -- but we enjoyed a really fun Hawaiian Luau one evening!

We were home for just a couple days, before we were both off again!  Alan had a board meeting in Maine, and I flew to Phoenix for the Plexus Convention!!  I was so blessed to be able to go, and I even earned the Convention Registration Refund, which helped make it affordable!  :)

The Convention was totally AWESOME!  I enjoyed the inspiring and motivational speakers, the practical instruction, the moving testimonies, and getting a glimpse into the heart of the company.  (I love Plexus more than ever!!)  I also enjoyed meeting so many incredible people!

I left my house at 4:00 am last Thursday to start my adventure!! First, I drove to Jacksonville; then I flew from Jacksonville to Atlanta; then I flew to Atlanta. The long flight from Atlanta to Phoenix "flew by" thanks to these amazing ladies!

The event was held in the Convention Center in downtown Phoenix and everything was totally "plexified" -- right down to our room keys!!  :)

There was So much ENERGY and EXCITEMENT!  :)

One fun thing about the convention was being able to drink from the "fountain of youth" whenever we wanted to!  :)  There were water coolers everywhere full of the Pink Drink!  :)

One of the highlights of the trip was meeting my sponsor, Emerald Ambassador, Charlotte Siems!  I have been inspired by this lady for many years through her blog and her T-Tapp journey!! The other two ladies in this picture are two of the fabulous women on my Plexus team -- Angie and Judith!  We had so much fun together!!

I was also privileged to meet my upline, Diamond Ambassador, Brenda Martin!  She is so inspiring!  She is the homeschooling mother of 11 and has made it to the top position of this company, proving that it's possible for a homeschooling mom of many to be wildly successful with this amazing company!!  Brenda is Charlotte's sponsor, and Charlotte is also a homeschooling mama of 12! She is right behind Brenda, and is making well over $10,000 a month as an Emerald Ambassador!  (Plexus is a very generous company and provides an amazing business opportunity that is perfect for stay-at-home moms!  If you'd like to know more, please message me or check out my website!)

I was blessed to be one of the ambassadors who qualified for the Winner's Dinner!!  :)  It was very nice and we were definitely made to feel special!

The convention was AWESOME, but before we knew it, it was time to fly home again.  Angie and I made good use of the flight home, as we discussed what we had learned and brainstormed some ways to act on that new knowledge.

I'll pick up here next week!  :)

Thanks for stopping by my front porch for a visit! I'd love for you to take a moment to "sign my guest book" (leave a comment!) so I can know that you stopped by and enjoyed your visit!  Please join me again next Friday on my front porch!
